Behold. Yesterday and today’s words of the day. And evolving in the manner of a horoscope, these words start to make more and more sense. The moon has currently waxed itself to the point where it is almost full and just when you think you get what’s going on, you don’t.
There are some things I wish I could understand better, and some things I try to respect. Some things I try to hold back, restrain myself, and let things go as they are. But I’ve come to the conclusion that no matter how hard I try, that just can’t happen.
Like my myspace friends have seen, Contravene like you Fulminate. Which means to interfere in the affairs of others as though you were causing a loud and cataclysmic explosion. All too fitting.
Enough ramblings on that tho.
On Monday, we closed on the house, so it’s all nice and official. Life is amazing. Thanks to the Realtor Mike Randolph from Century 21 for all of his help in all of it. So we’re excited. Old family will be out around the 7th, then we start finishing the floors and painting. I already know what I want to do for my room: dark blue for the walls, purple trim and black ceiling with a night sky and constellations in glow paint. I have ideas for the other rooms too, namely the room at the top of the steps which i’m going to use for music and the room i’m going to make a library. Should be fun.
Internet is out at my house because the area of the house with all the datacentre stuff is out of power for no apparent reason. So that’s why updates are slow here.
In other news, i’m going to be able to see counting crows in comstock park next month. I know someone in Toronto who’se wife can’t go so he offered up to me her ticket. So he’s just going to pick me up on the way out there and drop me off on the way back. By then we should have completed most of the move in our new house and this will be a great way to top off a long month of moving. So I’m super psyched about that. Wolfmother is tomorrow, and I got my tickets for Live / Collective Soul and for Family Values. Life is good.
All in all, i’m in a very fortunate person right now and i’m surrounded by some awesome people. I couldn’t be happier.
In other news, I go to trial July 17th. w00t.
