So I’m back from vacation. It was a blast, when I have time I’ll talk a little more about it. Also I’ve added a calendar link to the top of the page that goes right to my google calendar. So you guys know when i’m available and when i’m not.
The people we’re buying the house from had a yard sale over the weekend. Craig went over there and talked to the guy, he said he did lots of drywall, painting, and a few other things. That plus the mortgage looks like it’s going good. And to add icing to the cake, Tom is going to look at an apartment with Kim tomorrow, so if he moves out I’ll have a whole flat to myself. The excitement is maddening at this point. We’ve also kinda decided on colors for the house. White / off white for the siding, dark red or like an ox blood for the trim, and a black roof. I’m happy with that on multiple levels. Historical Homes tour is on Saturday, so that should be an interesting event if we go, I still haven’t called the library yet to see how much tickets are or anything like that.
On Friday i’m getting contacts. As you all know i’m sick of glasses, so I stopped in last Friday since I was in town in time to stop in at the eye doctor before they closed. So I saw my doctor, picked out new frames, and ordered some contacts. Life is good.
I saw Hostel 2 yesterday. Unlike the first one this one wasn’t half porn. Better than the first one by far, and there were some really memorable scenes.
And in 45 minutes the Apple WWDC 2007 kicks off. I’m predicting some cool new leopard gui stuff (with core graphics framework), an SDK for the iPhone, and a MacBook Pro with Santa Rosa. But we shall see.
